Saint George Beach (in Naxos Town)

Saint George Beach in Naxos Town (the capital of Naxos) is a very popoular resort in the Island. It is so named after the Saint George Church (second photo on the right), located at the north of the bay.

It is located at the so named bay and it is over 1 kilometre long with fine sand and shallow waters which makes it safe for kids.

It has an excellent tourist infrastructure and offers a variety of accommodation (hotels, studios, apartments) to choose from and all kind of beach entertainment.

Water sports facilities are available, from wind surfing facilities (there is high standards a training centre too) to pendaloes and beach volley.

Evenings at Saint George beach are colourful, beautiful and romantic providing unique moments for memorable holidays.

Having a meal in Agios Georgios is an experience since most of the restaurants are just on the beach. So you can enjoy your meal watching the sea, or even late evening dinning on the sandy beach, just 1-2 meters from the sea, is more than idyllic. Don't miss it.

The resort provides all kind of services may be required, mini markets, car and motorbike rentals included.
